]]>The primary difference between a project and a retainer is that a retainer is recurring (typically on a monthly basis) whereas a project is non-recurring and shorter in duration.
A retainer agreement outlines the types of services an agency will provide to a client and the amount of those services that are to be delivered.
]]>When to Use a Marketing & Design Retainer
• Need to immediately increase your marketing capabilities
• Require quick turn-around times for marketing and design initiatives
• Have many ongoing needs for creative assets and deliverables
• Need help managing the different media platforms you advertise on
• Have a project in mind that has a long (6+ months) timeline and covers a broad set of services related to design and marketing
• Are currently involved in or would like to start an ongoing content marketing campaign
]]>• Have a limited budget for marketing activities
• Have a very specific project or service requirement
• Don’t have very many ongoing marketing needs and requests
]]>These retainers will provide you with quick turnaround times, more creative results, and a low-risk option of hiring a marketing and design team without needing to carry the overhead required for hiring an additional staff member – no additional benefits, vacation, sick days, or concern about burnout while accessing the talent of multiple team members of your agency partner.
]]>Individual campaigns, special projects, or work that is outside the scope of our retainers are available and quoted on an individual basis. These projects are not quoted based on an hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours worked but rather reflects the value of the outcome of the project to our client.
To be frank, we don’t believe in selling hours. After all, our clients aren’t paying us for our hours worked, they are paying us for the outcomes and results that we deliver to them. It rarely matters whether the outcome requires 5 hours or 25 hours as long as the desired outcome and result is achieved.
Using the billable hour's system creates a conflict of interest. If we are selling hours, it is more beneficial for us to use more hours to complete work. As we get better at delivering results, we spend less time on any given project, increase our efficiency but decrease our billable hours. That means that we are actually receiving less money for doing the same work quicker.
We prefer to think long-term and look at the deliverables over the course of an entire retainer or project life-span and measure the value of our work overtime. It’s the same approach companies take when hiring their staff on a salary rather than on an hourly basis. Salaries are paid not because of the time put in by an individual but by the outcome and deliverables they provide the company over the course of a year.
]]>The monthly advertising spend is not included in the prices.
Based on the
objectives set by the client, we will recommend average monthly advertising spend, but then the final amount is at the discretion of the client

We cannot guarantee leads, but we work our hardest to strategise and optimise your campaigns to get you as many leads as possible.
We cannot guarantee a certain number or quality of leads, nor do we evaluate our services via performance-based metrics.

Ideal Outcome: You can see Google Search Console data inside Google Analytics.
Prerequisites or requirements: You need to set up Google Search Console on your site and make sure you have edit permissions for both Google Search Console and your Google Analytics 4 account.
Why this is important: The integration with Search Console lets you analyze organic searches related to your site. You can, for example, see where your site is ranked in search results.
Where this is done: Google Analytics 4.
When this is done: After you’ve set up Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 on your site.
Who does this: Marketing Manager, marketing consultant, or any person responsible for setting up analytics for your site.
Link Google Analytics 4 with Google Search Console.
1. Login to your Google Analytics account.
2. Click “Admin”.
3. Make sure you’ve selected the correct property (website) and select “Search Console links” under PRODUCT LINKS.
4. Click “Link” to create a new link.
5. Click “Choose accounts”.
6. Select the property (website) that you want to connect Google Analytics 4 to and click “Confirm

8. Select a web stream.
9. Choose the Google Analytics 4 web stream that you’ve set up.
10. Click “Next”.
11. Click “Submit”.

13. To confirm that you’ve successfully linked the 2 accounts, you can view the data from Google Search Console by heading over to Reports ➝ Acquisition ➝ Acquisition Overview
14. In that report, scroll down to the bottom and you will find 2 additional reports made available after you’ve connected GA4 with Google Search Console:
a. Organic Google Search impressions by Landing page
b. Organic Google Search clicks by Organic Google Search query
15. That’s it. You’ve now successfully linked Google Search Console with your Google Analytics 4 property

Execution Time: ~5 Mins
Goal: Set up a Google Analytics 4 account from scratch.
Ideal Outcome: Successfully create a Google Analytics 4 account ready to be implemented on your website or app.
Prerequisites or requirements: You need to have an existing Google account. You can create a Google account here if you don't have one.
Why this is important: Google Analytics 4 is the next-generation analytics platform by Google (replacing the legacy platform Universal Analytics). It’s privacy-focused and better suited to track the customer journey across platforms and devices.
Where this is done: Google Analytics.
When this is done: Before you make your website public.
Sign up for a Google Analytics account.
Head to https://analytics.google.com and make sure you’re signed in to your Google account (the email that you used to sign up for any Google products — Gmail, Google Ads, Youtube, Google Tag Manager, etc).
The following depends if you have an existing Google Analytics account.
If you have an existing Google Analytics account (e.g. Universal analytics), select Admin ➞ Create a new account.
If you don’t have an existing Google Analytics account. Click “Start measuring”.
In the account setup page, add an account name. If you’re not sure what name to give this account a good start is to use an individual, a company, or a brand name.
a. Note:
i. You can create multiple Google Analytics accounts.
ii. Also, It’s not recommended to use the name of your website as your account name as you will add it as a property later. One Google Analytics account can contain multiple properties.
Once done, click “Next”.
In property setup, add a name for your property. The property name should be the name of your website or mobile app. Set the appropriate time zone and currency for your business/website/app. Then click “Next”.
Fill in the rest of your business details and click “Create”.
a. Industry category — The niche that your business is in.
b. Business size — How many employees do you have including yourself.
c. How do you intend to use Google Analytics — What purposes will you use Google Analytics for.
5. Accept Google Analytics’ terms of service agreement.
Save your email communication settings for Google Analytics.
You will then be presented with a dashboard to set up a data stream. Data stream basically means data for your website or app. There are three platforms you can set up a data stream for:
a. A website
b. An android app
c. An iOS app.
Choose one that’s most applicable to you. But for this tutorial, we’ll choose Web.
Add your website URL and add a name for this data stream to help you identify this data. Leave the enhanced measurement enabled by default. Then click “Create stream”.
You will then see a summary page of the data stream for your site. That means you have successfully created a Google Analytics 4 account.
