If you are using an external project management tool, we recommend setting up the individual tasks inside your project management tool as the exact same tasks you request to us.

This way when one task is resolved on our end, you can tick it off in your project management tool.

When providing your designer with the text that you would like them to use, we ask that you please provide this to your designer in a format that they can easily cut and paste, like a Word or Google Doc file, or by pasting the text directly into your design request submission.

If you provide this text to your designer in a format or file that is not easy to cut and paste (such as a PDF), then they may have to transcribe the text themselves, which can lead to mistakes.

Remember, your designer is a professional designer, not a professional transcriber or copywriter.

If you need a request prioritized above others, simply ask us to move this request to the top.

How fast you receive your request depends on three factors: 

1. How long you and the team have been working together
   
2. How many active requests you currently have in the queue
3. The complexity of your request (more robust, complex or time-consuming requests can take longer)

Our team members work on your account every business day and tackle your requests in the order they are received. If they are already working on several requests, or one particular request is complex, then their output will be affected accordingly. After you submit your request, your dedicated account manager will be able to give you a better-estimated turnaround time based on the size and scope of your request. 

Clients that have successfully completed a few requests and have developed a good working relationship with their account manager can – on occasion – make requests to accommodate sensitive timelines.

If you would like your designer to account for bleed, simply include this in your design request message to your designer. Or if you want to incorporate the bleed into the dimensions yourself, simply let your designer know!

Our designers are very experienced in creating original shirt designs that are ready for print. Each design your designer makes for you will be completely unique and will not break any copyright laws.

While PowerPoint is not a design program, we can absolutely help you create great presentations. We can create background images for PowerPoint presentations as well as other assets to place in your presentation.

We can also use the text you provide us with to create a PowerPoint that is visually appealing.

After being assigned your designer, you’ll gain access to the support and client portal. You can then submit your first design request.

Once your designer receives your first request they’ll promptly begin working. Upon completion, you’ll receive your downloadable files

Remember these three simple steps when submitting a design request:

• Upload your assets

Describe In Detail

The more information you provide to your designer, the better. Remember that your designer is not a mind reader, and it is up to you to properly describe exactly what you are envisioning.

Vagueness in your design request may cause your designer to be confused and interpret your request differently than what you are imagining. To make your request clear, provide examples of what you like or of what you are looking for. You can also provide examples of what you don’t like, or what you are not looking for. If you don’t know exactly what you want, no problem, we’ll be happy to provide you with some samples and ideas.

If you would like specific text to be included on your design, please copy and paste this text into the design request. For animation or motion graphics with audio, we require you to provide us with the audio to use. If uploading an Adobe Illustrator file, for example, please remember to outlines all fonts and embed all photos.

We allow you to provide as much detail as you’d like in your design request. Take advantage of this!

More difficult tasks like a multi page powerpoint or a PSD can take longer, so the turnaround may be longer

You can request an unlimited number of changes, this means we will keep working on the design until you are 100% happy.

You have to provide us with inspiration so we can create designs that perfectly fit your tastes.

Send us your text: Sketch on paper a wireframe or use easy tools such as Balsamiq to tell us how your website needs to look. We really need this!

Decide what type of infographic you want: Do you want a timeline infographic? Comparison of an infographic? Data visualisation? This article will give you 8 infographics ideas.

Send us your specifications: Tell us your colour preferences, send us your branding assets, or even provide us with a hand-drawn sketch of how you want the infographic to look like. The more information you give us, the better.

Our professional designers can fulfil highly complex requests for you, but they aren’t mind readers. In order to make sure that they are able to create exactly what you’re imagining, please make sure you’re explicitly clear in your design request.

Yup, that’s it. Please note that it is not intended to be a replacement for a full time, in-house designer. The best way to tell if we are right for you is to sign up and see for yourself.

Should you be paired with a new designer, they will have already been provided an orientation to ensure they understand exactly what you are looking for.

In most cases, such as your designer being sick or taking a vacation, your newly assigned designer will only be temporarily working with you. Once your original designer is once again available, they will be taking over once more.

Should you, however, wish to continue working with your new designer, please contact us and we will ensure that this new designer continues to work with you for all of your projects.

The good news is that we understand that things can go wrong, and we are always happy to help.

Below is a quick reminder on what to do if something goes wrong:

Communicate with your designer: Don’t worry, you’re designer won’t take it personally. If they missed something, or if there is something you would like them to be doing differently, please let them know and they will immediately correct this.

Review your messages and requests: Working with a remote designer is a new experience for most individuals. It requires a unique style of communication and attention to detail. Make sure that your request is clear and easy to understand, even for someone who does not have all the context and knowledge about your business or field.

Remember that organizing your request into bullet points, and separating your large design requests into separate parts can go a long way.

If you have an urgent request for a very complex project, we will do our best to meet your timeframe.

Our designers are highly skilled, but they can’t read minds, so if you aren’t clear with your design request then your designer may create something different than what you’re expecting.

Unclear requests may result in a delay of your project’s completion. If your request could use some clarification, your designer will contact you with questions before starting your project.

This back and forth process may result in your designs taking longer to complete.

Here are a few tips:

1. Be clear and concise: Please keep your briefs short, with concise sentences.
   
   
2. Tell us the WHY: It is not only about throwing tens of inspiration links at your designer. Please tell us exactly why you like this and what elements we should keep on the design.
   
   
3. Use tools: There are plenty of tools. Loom helps you record videos of your screen where you can pinpoint to the designer what you want or Balsamiq helps you create wireframes.
   
   
4. Set your expectations: Do you need a quick brush-up or a complete, well-thought-of design that can take more time? The more we know about this, the more we can adapt to your needs.
   
   

We do make exceptions when clients are in a hurry to deliver something, but the rule of thumb is that we will process a single request for clients at any given time
